25-CSS-Documentation
The purpose of this project was:
- Practice responsive design
- Make one of those documentation pages you sometimes see when you’re using new software. (menu on the left, info on the right, looks good on all devices)
I have thoughts.
Boy do I ever have thoughts about this project.
This was part of the unit on responsive design.
The part without any hand holding, where you go off and code by yourself.
I did the html part of this project last night then planned to do the css today.
In bed, I was thinking about how to do each part of the css.
I woke up feeling prepared to tackle this project and do it well.
Before the activity I did some brush up flexbox training then started.
In the middle of it I had a serious case of, well some people have different names for it.
- Imposter syndrome?
- Do I know what I am doing?
- Why am I getting stuck on this super easy part?
In this project I relied on Chat GPT who I cursed in a previous entry more than I would have liked.
I was happy to say that at one part ChatGPT gave me the wrong answer. I fixed it and went back to ChatGPT and said, “By the way, if you’re wondering, here’s how you really do it.”
That will make me feel a little better.
Other than that, I didn’t feel so great about today.
But then after I handed it in, I found out why.
Today’s work was supposed to be a little more difficult than the other assignments.
It is one of the projects they use to give you your certificate.
For some reason, I thought I would finish the course then do my certificates.
So today I found out, I am doing the certificates as I go along.
Good to know.
Anyway, I will try to not beat up myself too much, and just continue doing my best.
P.S I know these very serious pages don’t usually have color, so if I ever do one in real life, it will not blue.
